Cambridge Exhibition

Black Rat Projects is excited to announce a new exhibition in conjunction with Changing Spaces opening this weekend in Cambridge.

Skulls, skeletons and death galore, "Memento Mori" opens this evening, February 28th from 6-9 and will continue on until the 27th March, Tuesday - Saturday from 11 - 4pm.

Some of our favourite artists, including Swoon, Giles Walker, Candice Tripp, Butch Anthony, Elbow Toe, Nancy Fouts, Marcos Raya, The Connor Brother and Dr Viktor Schroeder are exhibiting works, as well as pieces by two artists new to BRP, Ignacio Alcarez, and a video installation by Emma Allen.    Spread over three floors of a beautiful converted Georgian house, "Memento Mori" is our favourite type of group show as each of these artists presents their take one the most universal of themes.  After all, dark is the new light!

We're also happy to announce Butch Anthony's second print in his iconic women of art history series is finished production and ready to be sent out.  "Frida", an intertwangleized self portrait of Frida Khalo with monkey is a hand finished giclee print, on somerset satin paper, 60 x 49 cm at £195.

What's more, we're excited that our first collaborative print, between the talented Candice Tripp and Giles Walker "They Say This One Will Be Different" is available for purchase.  After the huge success of their November exhibition "I'm Never Shopping Here Again", Candice and Giles bring characters from both of their worlds together in this edition of 50, 50 x 60 cm, at £195.

Please drop us a line at for all print sales inquiries.

Black Rat will be exhibiting at the Battersea Affordable Art Fair next month, running from March 13th to 16th.  We're really looking forward to this years fair, so please drop us a line if you'd like tickets to visit.

Best wishes,
Tiffany and Danae.
